Redbreast Through the Decades

  • 24 May 2016
  • 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
  • The Oliver Plunkett, Cork

A fantastic taste experience is in store at the Oliver Plunkett bar for what will be a memorable Redbreast whiskey flight..

We will also finally get to sample our Society's 1916 Centenary "Marrowbone Lane" bottling which, by all accounts to date, has been judged a fine dram and a great approximation of that old pot still whiskey style.

Ger Garland, of Irish Distillers will guide us through one of the finest selection of whiskeys we've ever lined up for a tasting in Cork.

Following the 2016 IWS bottling, we will sample the ultra rare Gilbey's Redbreast 10 Year Old (60's), a Gilbey's Redbreast 12 Year Old (70's) and a Gilbey's Redbreast 12 Year Old (80's).

From there, we will begin our journey through the current Irish Distillers Redbreast range, from the much loved 12 Year old to the more muscular Cask Strength 12, onto the older brother 15 Year Old and finishing in style with the multi-award winning Redbreast 21.
