Join us for the Society’s first Canadian Whisky tasting as we turn to the home of the maple leaf to indulge in various blended multi-grain whiskies featuring spicy rye, sweet corn, and smooth wheat flavours native to the Canadian heartland.
While everyone has had a Canadian Club or a Crown Royal, few are familiar with Canada's finer drams. As you would expect from a region which is considered among the top five in the world there are myriad expressions crafted by true masters to choose from. In addition to this consider that Canada has recently experienced the emergence of a number of smaller distilleries boasting exciting new flavour profiles.
The main obstacle faced by the brand is its absence from the world market. That was of course until now. We will be showcasing several samples of just what Canada has to offer in the surety that each will intrigue even the most sceptical of palettes. So join us for what should prove to be a fun night of whisky reconnaissance.
Potographs may be taken on the night for use on the society's webpage and other promotional activities for the benefit of the society. Attendance at the event provides the Irish Whiskey Society with the right to use any images taken on the night.
