We've been working hard to arrange something very special for this month's tasting... we are delighted to announce Dingle Distillery will be with is for an In Depth tasting 
on Thursday 25th April at 8pm in Wynn's Hotel, Dublin 1.


The Society are proud to be part of the Dingle Founding Fathers with our ex-Bourbon cask laid down in July 2013 and currently maturing beside the Atlantic Coast on behalf of our members.

We will be joined by David Cummins Dingle Brand Ambassador together with Éamonn Dowd from the Distillery to discuss everything Dingle Whiskey...

With several hard to find editions... we will go on a journey from Single Malt Batch 1, Batch 2 and Batch 3 up to the latest sought after Batch 4 Cask Strength, we will enjoy some incredible Batch 4 Deconstruction Cask Samples from the distillery showing how Batch 4 was created. With their latest Pot Still Batch 2 and some other surprises in the works this will be a great night. It is a rare opportunity to have these bottles opened and enjoyed together. 

At the start of this month (on the 4th of the 4th) Dingle released their Batch 4 Single Malt, a well received expression matured in a combination of Bourbon, Port and Sherry (both Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) casks. We will have the hard to find Single Malt Batch 4 Cask Strength edition bottled at 59%, non-chill-filtered with natural colouringDave will present this together with cask samples of matured Bourbon, Port and Sherry showing each expression that was carefully selected to create Batch 4, a rare opportunity to experience the deconstruction of this edition.

We will also be enjoying some Pot Still, the Dingle Single Pot Still Still Batch 2. Launced in November 2018 this edition hardly graced the shelves before it sold out. A this Pot Still is a combination of Bourbon, and Sherry casks (Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez). Bottled at 46.6% non-chill-filtered with natural colouring.
