Celebrate Burns night with a Scotch Malt Whiskey Society Tasting and Social Event
We’re thrilled to return to Bar1661, Green Street, Dublin 7 for a very special Burns Night celebration on Wednesday 22nd January at 7:00pm. We will enjoy a welcome cocktail, some super SMWS expressions followed by some Burns Night food and celebrations.

Arriving at 7:00pm, we will be welcomed with a Whisky Cocktail created for the evening by the award winning team at Bar1661 to kick off our Burns Night Social event.
We will then joined by Sam MacDonald who will take us through some superb Scotch Malt Whiskey Society expressions especially selected for the night's tasting.
Sam has worked as a Brand Ambassador and London Venue Manager of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
He has made it his personal mission to lead the charge for the region Dal Riada, through research and representation, Sam aims to uncover the world's oldest whisk(e)y region.
He has spent fourteen years working in the drinks industry and currently represents Irish and Scottish whiskey brands around the world.

Following the tasting we will be treated to some Burns Night food boards to enjoy with some themed entertainment!
This will be great night with some fine drams, food and fun. The bar will be open afterwards and we hope you can stay to enjoy the rest of the evening with your fellow members. Guan, Guan!
Priority booking for opens for members Monday 13th January at 12:00 noon, with the option to register guests. Spaces are limited to ensure we all fit comfortably in the bar so early booking is advised. Member Tickets €20.00. Guest Tickets €30.00
Booking then opens for non-members on Wednesday 15th January at 12:00 noon.
