20th July, Powerscourt Estate
We have something exciting planned for our July event: an on-site visit to the Powerscourt Distillery!
The team at Powerscourt, and your events team, have organised a fantastic lineup for the night, including local wicklow food, a tour of the distillery, an opportunity for mixing with your fellow society members, and of course, some great whiskey!
We have worked with the team at Powerscourt to arrange some fantastic food and drinks on arrival highlighting the rich and varied produce available from Wicklow artisans, followed by a tour of the distillery and capped off with a whiskey tasting paired with some specially selected bites of food to highlight the whiskeys we will be tasting, which will include:
- A deconstruction of Fercullen Falls,
- The newly released Fercullen Single Malt
- The Italian Gardens Estate series 3
- An unreleased whiskey!
Outline of the Trip:
We will be travelling to Powerscourt by bus, which will be leaving at National Gallery (Merrion Square West) at 5pm in order to arrive at Powerscourt by 6pm. We have also arranged a return bus to the city centre which will arrive at 10pm.
Tickets are strictly limited to 45 and will no doubt sell out very quickly, so be sure to set a reminder for 7pm on 4th July when they go on sale!
