28th of October (Saturday), Old Carrick Mill distillery, Co. Monaghan
Dear Members,
Our friends from the Old Carrick Mill distillery invited us to the grand opening of their distillery on the 28th of October (Saturday). On that day we will be marking history by filling the first barrels in Co. Monaghan in 165 years.
On the day we will have the opportunity to sign the barrels, sample the new whiskey and try their May-Lóag core range. There will be a bar and refreshments served and a chance we will get a chance to get some insights to the new distillery!
Members who will attend the event will be also able to buy the new whiskey before they hit the market. There will be two options (new 46% bottle for 123 euros & new cask strength bottle for 150 euros). Please let us know (during the registration process) if you will be interested in purchasing any bottles.
The society will organise a bus on the day for our members.
Booking opens on Saturday 30th of September at 7.00pm. This will be a popular event, so please set a reminder to book on to secure your space. Join the waiting list to be notified as we might be able to get more spots for the event. It is necessary to register and complete payment via PayPal (within 15 minutes) to secure your booking.
