Tipperary Distillery
Tipperary Boutique Distillery is a premium Single Estate Whiskey Distillery based in the abundant rolling pastureland known as the Golden Vale in Ireland’s South West.
Situated on their Farm at Ballindoney outside of Cahir in Co. Tipperary, they are a true grain to glass production. Barley grown on the land and the water which flows through it are the main ingredients in their Whiskeys and Gins which are produced onsite in their own Distillery and enjoyed by spirit connoisseurs all over the world.
MD Jennifer Nickerson is the only female Whiskey Distiller and Poitín Producer in Ireland, whilst her husband Liam is the sixth generation of the Ahearn Family to grow and harvest Barley on the land. Jennifer and Liam are joined by Jennifer’s Father Stuart Nickerson who is a Scottish ‘Master of the Quaich’ and a world renowned Whiskey Maker.
Members may remember Jennifer presenting to us at the last Ambassadors tasting held in the Dingle Crystal Factory in October 2023.
As is usual, there will be a bus provided which will pick members up at John Benny's pub, Strand Street at 1900 hours and we look forward to seeing you there.
