Irish Whiskey Society
This event is being held to commemorate our dear friend and supporter Mary Ferriter who sadly passed away one year ago. We all knew Mary and how considerate, kind and generous she was. She was a terrific supporter of the Irish Whiskey Society and its chapter in the town and was delighted to have such an organisation here on her doorstep in Dingle. In the event that she could not attend a tasting, she always purchased 2 tickets for the lads with whom she worked. She also sent her husband P.J. along in her stead.
Some of her family will also be in attendance.
Graham Coull will present an excellent repertoire of the Dingle spirit on the evening and there are bound to be some amazing whiskeys to be imbibed so get booking as everyone will want to pay tribute to Mary's memory.
There will be a bus provided to bring attendees to the event in the warehouse and back to Dingle town afterwards and this will leave John Bennys pub on Strand Street at 19.15
Masks will be worn on the bus, attendees may also arrange a lift to and from the event for themselves should they choose. However, attendees are requested to not bring a vehicle and leave this overnight as they will not be able to get their car back with the warehouse closed for the weekend. As the warehouse is a Seveso site, members are also advised that there will be no smoking allowed on the premises at any time. As per previous tastings, Covid certs will be checked upon arrival.
We are doing this to safeguard everybody's health and would be grateful for your cooperation for this event. Should you desire, you may also bring your own tasting glass to this tasting.
We respectfully request that everyone adheres to all of the Government and other guidelines in place, and any updated ones at the time of the event.
If you feel unwell stay at home, you will receive a refund on request.
When signing up you will be asked to confirm your name and number, for contact tracing and to agree to the Dingle Chapter In-Person Event Terms & Conditions.
